What makes our program stand out!

At Revamped Lawn and Landscape, we don't just provide lawn care, we provide education. Unlike other companies, we focus on training our customers to understand their lawn's needs and how to properly care for it. Our program uses organic solutions, such as carbon and humates, to condition the soil and rejuvenate it, instead of relying on excessive nitrogen. We give your lawn what it truly needs in a balanced way, using higher levels of potassium and micronutrients. Our team offers unmatched follow-up and education, including diagnosing and treating any bug issues. We also provide tailored programs to fit your lawn's specific needs, including liquid and core aerations, and teaching customers how to properly water with their soil types

What are humates?

Humates are natural substances that come from decomposed organic matter such as plants and animals. They contain a variety of beneficial elements that can help improve soil health, including trace minerals, humic and fulvic acids, and beneficial microbes. By adding humates to your lawn, you can help improve soil structure, increase water retention, and boost nutrient uptake by your grass, leading to a healthier and more vibrant lawn.

Why should you chose us?

We focus on treating your lawn like a garden, prioritizing soil health and root growth for long-lasting results.

  1. Our fertilizer program uses organic solutions, including carbon and humates, to rejuvenate Utah's poor soil and give your lawn the micronutrients and macros it needs in a balanced way.

  2. We offer tailored programs that take into account your lawn's unique needs, instead of just pumping out the same stuff to everyone.

  3. Our team provides unmatched follow-up and education, including diagnosing bugs and teaching you how to properly water your lawn based on your soil type.

  4. We offer both liquid and core aerations to keep your lawn healthy and thriving.

  5. We use higher levels of potassium and micronutrients for better color and root growth, rather than relying on nitrogen like other companies.

  6. Our program is focused on training the customer to properly care for their lawn, so you can enjoy a beautiful and healthy lawn for years to come.

Choose Revamped Lawn and Landscape for a lawn care program that truly cares about your lawn's health and beauty.

Pre Emergent- What are they? How do they work?

Preemergents are a type of herbicide that are applied to lawns and landscapes to prevent weed seeds from germinating and taking root in the soil. They work by creating a barrier that inhibits the growth of young seedlings, without harming established plants. Preemergents are typically applied in the spring or fall, before weed seeds have a chance to germinate. They are an important tool in lawn care, as they can help to prevent the spread of invasive weeds and promote a healthy, vibrant lawn. However, it is important to apply pre-emergents correctly and at the right time, as failure to do so can result in a lawn that is still susceptible to weed growth.

In Utah, pre-emergent herbicides should be applied in early spring before soil temperatures reach 55-60°F to prevent the germination of summer annual weeds like crabgrass, and again in the fall to prevent winter annual weeds like annual bluegrass.

Preemergents are herbicides that target weed seeds before they germinate and emerge from the soil.

  • They work by inhibiting cell division and root growth in newly germinated weed seedlings, preventing them from establishing in the lawn or garden.

  • Most preemergent herbicides are selective, meaning they only target certain types of weeds and won't harm desirable plants when applied according to label directions.

  • The effectiveness of preemergents can vary depending on factors such as soil temperature, moisture, and the timing of application.

  • It's important to apply preemergents at the right time to ensure maximum efficacy, typically before weed seeds begin to germinate in the spring or fall.

  • Overuse or misuse of preemergents can lead to environmental damage and can also contribute to the development of herbicide-resistant weeds.

Our Insect Protection program! Grubs & more!

Grub prevention involves the application of insecticides to the lawn to kill the beetle larvae before they can cause damage. This is typically done in the late spring or early summer, before the beetles have a chance to lay their eggs.

It's important to note that not all lawn damage is caused by grubs, and not all lawns require grub prevention treatments. Our comprehensive program includes the expertise of our skilled specialists who will effectively identify any lawn issues you may be facing. Additionally, we cover a range of common lawn care concerns as part of our program.

Other insects we cover?

  • Billbugs - These are small beetles that can cause damage to turfgrass by feeding on the roots and stems. They are most active in the spring and summer months.

  • Sod webworms - These are the larvae of moths that feed on the leaves of grass plants, causing brown patches to appear on lawns. They are most active in the summer months.

  • White grubs - These are the larvae of various types of beetles that feed on the roots of grass plants, causing them to wither and die. They are most active in the late summer and early fall.

  • Chinch bugs - These are small insects that feed on the sap of grass plants, causing them to turn yellow and die. They are most active in the summer months.

  • Armyworms - These are the larvae of moths that can quickly devour large areas of grass in a short amount of time. They are most active in the late summer and early fall.

  • Cranberry girdler is an insect that can damage lawns in Utah. The larvae of this insect feed on grass stems, which can cause sections of the lawn to turn brown and die. Adult cranberry girdlers are small, dark-colored moths that fly low over the grass. They lay their eggs on the stems of the grass blades, and the larvae hatch and begin feeding on the grass. Grub control products can be effective in preventing cranberry girdler damage to lawns.
